Just returned from seeing Enslaved and Opeth. It was a pretty amazing show, especially Opeth. I had a great time, excluding waking the next morning finding how much money I had spent on alcohol, as well as the fact my girlfriend got drunk and lost the $250 cell phone I had just bought for her. I did buy her all the booze, so I suppose some of that blame falls on my shoulders...

Anywho, what are some of the best concerts you've attended? Some of the stories involving those...

for the first time in years, and I realized I forgot how much the guys could kick ass. I then went back and been into an intense CoF audio session, listening to all the albums in order, from Principle to Midian.

Regarding Cruelty precisely, I still don't get the whole controversy on the sound, particularly on the drums, they are perfect and perfectly audible to me... I think it's actually my favorite album production-wis. So what is the big fuss about?

I don't know how many of you have been here long enough to remember Mike, who posted on this form under the name Forest of Shadows. He took his own life back in 2003, and he's been making appearances in my mind lately. He was pretty well liked here, and was a pretty good friend and conversationalist, though from his first post on the forum, it was evident that he suffered from depression - he posted pictures of himself after giving himself a few good slashings with a blade.

Surprised I didn't notice this before....but I noticed on COF's message board (tied to their official website) that Sarah is not on this years tour.

I read up on it a bit on line and other people say that as well.
